Event buckets contain cleaned stems of flowers and greenery in a coordinating colour palette.

each bucket contains approximately 50 stems of focal flowers, filler flowers, and greenery. How many arrangements this makes will depend largely on your vase size and desired style, but will usually make approximately 6 mason-jar sized arrangements.

If you’d like to avoid certain colours or have a colour scheme in mind, please indicate them in the ‘notes’ section on the check-out page. We will do our best to accommodate, but restrictive colour schemes can’t be guaranteed. please note that buckets are subject to availability. Colours/flower type can not be guaranteed, and we do not grow many white or off-white flowers. For this reason it may not be suitable for bridal events. Your bucket will contain the flowers and greenery that is in bloom at time of your order.

We harvest flowers specifically for your bucket, so Please allow 48-72 hours for  buckets to ensure we provide you with the freshest bouquet possible.

If you do not have a bucket, you may borrow ours for a fully refundable $20 fee, returned on receipt of your empty bucket.

FAQ’s

Are these flowers suitable to make bridal bouquets with? These flowers are not suggested for uses that will require them to be out of water for long periods of time. Florists have experience using florals that last out of water, so we suggest purchasing your bridal bouquets from a florist. These flowers are best suited for use in table arrangements and bud vases where they will remain in water.

What will be in bloom during my event? While we can’t guarantee certain flowers due to pest damage or weather, and we don’t grow every type of flower, most of the time the following flowers are in bloom during these months:

June: false indigo, Peonies, Ranunculus, bleeding hearts, snapdragons, campanula, feverfew, delphinium

July: feverfew, campanula, snapdragons, astilbe, bee balm, zinnias, cosmos, yarrow, statice, lavender

August: Zinnias, cosmos, lisianthus, scabiosa, gladiolous, phlox, mint

September: Zinnias, cosmos, lisianthus, sedum, snapdragons, Delphinium, gomphrena, celosia, Dahlias

when should I pick up my order, and how long will flowers last for? We suggest picking up your order the day before your event, so you have time to arrange them. Flowers, when kept in clean water and in a temperature range of 10-20 degrees will last for approximately one week. Direct sun and high heat will reduce their lifespan, so keep your flowers in a cool room before your event to prolong their life.

How should I store my flowers before the event? in a temperature range of 10-20 degrees C, such as an air conditioned room, and  away from direct sun (eg. a cool basement) would be ideal. We do not advise storing in a fridge that is not specifically designed for flowers, as accidentally freezing your flowers would be the worse-case scenario.
